Before my transformation, I’d tried so many times to lose weight, cutting the calories to ridiculously low levels, doing endless cardio, each time failing, leaving me feeling a little more depressed about my body with every ditched diet attempt.

Mid 2014 I stopped dieting and started eating clean instead. I ate all of my favourite foods but made everything myself. It was never hard work as I loved cooking and it saved me money!
I didn’t do it for weightloss, more for health but after 4 months, friends, family, colleagues and people at the gym were congratulating me on my weightloss. I didn’t even notice it!

I had more energy to workout and started doing HIIT, something I never thought possible, by February 2015 I’d gone from a size 16 to a 10, by working out less and eating more. It wasn’t an effort anymore, it was just a happy part of my daily routine.
But, I’m a fan of a challenge, so decided to enter into a bodybuilding competition, with only 2 months to train for it. I barely lifted weights before so I new id have to invest in a trainer, and it was the best present I have ever bought myself. In that time, I went from a slim 10 to a ripped 6 without starvation or endless hours in the gym.

My advice to anyone wanting to transform in 2016, up your protein and lift heavy, especially you ladies!

Harry’s Amazing Transformation Story

I started training to stay healthy and focused on eating right to gain weight then my dad introduce bodybuilding to me and I feel in live with the everything about it, lifting weights eating correctly and taking my body to extremes levels.
My dad was my consistency, he believed in me more then any one else and showed me everything I know to this day. And then he suddenly passed away in April so it made me more determined to complete our dream.
I never really have an end result because I always strive for better but overall my biggest result was to gain nearly 9st of lean muscle and keeping my body fat at 12% is a big result for me so far.
It feels great and still does to be able to change my body by the work I put in myself is a great sentation to have. I felt strong.

First thing enjoy it you have to enjoy it to achieve it, be consistent, always educate yourself don’t just follow diet plans research why and have fun doing it.

  1. If you aren’t assessing you’re just guessing. Always keep a close tab on key measures like lifts, body measures and food intake. This will allow you to measure the effectiveness of your approach.
  2. No pain, no gain – is quite possibly the most stupid approach of all time. Listen to your body, if you’re in pain, back off, and find something alternative to do. No one gets a medal for an injury. 
  3. Surround yourself with high achievers. This will bring a whole new level of motivation to your diet and training. You are a product of your environment. Ask yourself: is this helping me or ruining me?
