Three easy post-workout snack recipes with Pic’s Peanut Butter

These healthy snacks are our go-to for a post-gym-sesh refuel and they taste SO GOOD.

Peanut Butter Choc Chip Protein Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Pic’s Smooth Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup of oats
  • 60g of chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tbsp of chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup of honey

Method

Mix all of the ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Once the mixture is fully combined and starts to stick together, take a tablespoon of the mix in your hand at a time and start to roll into balls. Once you’ve created all of your balls, pop them in the fridge to firm overnight – easy as that!

 

Peanut Butter Fruit Fuels

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Pic’s Smooth Peanut Butter
  • 1 banana (chopped)
  • Handful of strawberries
  • Mix of seeds
  • Mix of nuts (chopped)

Method

Super easy and super delicious – simply coat your fruit in Pic’s Peanut Butter and dip into your seeds and nuts. Refrigerate your coated fruits in the fridge for 20 minutes and enjoy. 

 

Cinnamon and Raisin Protein Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Pic’s Smooth Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup of oats
  • 60g of vanilla protein powder
  • 2 tbsp of raisins
  • ¼ cup of honey
  • 2 pinches of cinnamon 

Method

Combine all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and stir until fully mixed through. Take a heaped tablespoon of the mixture in your hands and roll into a ball, before flattening with your palm into a cookie shape. Repeat this for the rest of the mixture. 

Refrigerate the cookies for at least two hours to allow them to firm and they’re good to eat.
